Notes

*Title: The title is descriptive. No title given by the artist is known.

**Date and Catalogue Entry #: 1919 is the earliest date known for a Fiene print, and this is the only print known to bear that date. Although it is possible that Fiene prints bearing earlier dates may yet be discovered, this is unlikely given the lack of evidence for Fiene's involvement in printmaking before or even at this time. Therefore this monotype has been arbitrarily assigned catalogue entry # 1.

***Medium: This is Fiene's only known monotype.

Reproduced in: Monotypes of the 19th & 20th Centuries [Gallery Catalog], Chicago: October-November 2007.

Paper: Thin, wove, no margins
