The dock in the foreground center and right, empty in the lithograph, bears two men and a grouping of crates in the painting.

New York Harbor, c. 1937, oil on canvas, 22 1/4 x 18 1/4 in., signed l.l. This is another variation on the view of the Manhattan skyline looking across the East River from Brooklyn Heights.
