About the Author

Jeffrey Coven

Jeffrey Coven was born and raised in Chicago, holds a bachelors degree from the University of Michigan, a Masters degree from the University of Chicago, and has pursued further study at New York University and The New School. Now retired, he was professor of English at Suffolk County Community College of the State University of New York. He has resided in the New York City area for forty years, where he currently lives with his wife Leslie.

Among his other publications are the book Baudelaire's Voyages The Poet and His Painters, Boston: Little Brown/Bulfinch, 1993; and The Prints of Ernest Fiene: A Catalogue Raisonné published online by the Fiene Quintanilla Online Catalogue Raisonné Project (FQOCRP).

Along with his love of prints and his experience as a print dealer, the need for a scholarly project in retirement led him to undertake the creation of the Fiene Quintanilla Online Catalogue Raisonné Project, of which he is director.
